VMR Bribie are Volunteers who provide a marine rescue service 365 days a year/ 24 hrs a day around Bribie Island, Beachmere, Caboolture River and Moreton Bay. We are 100% volunteers and we are dedicated to saving lives! We also assist other Emergency Services in Search/Rescue and Medivacs.
In order to keep our service functioning we rely upon donations and fundraising. Running a rescue service is expensive and we are always needing help to fundraise to pay for the vital equipment, maintenance and fuel for the vessels. We operate and maintain a modern radio room and base to service the area. Our volunteers need training and other facilities to keep all our volunteers safe and professional in the jobs they do.
