Volunteer Marine Rescue Bribie Island is comprised 100% of volunteers who provide a boat rescue service 365 days a year/ 24 hours a day. Our primary purpose is the safety and preservation of life at sea. We assist Fire, Ambulance and Police in Evacuations/Searches/Rescues and Medivacs and work closely with all other Emergency Services as required. Please support us with this vital Volunteer Emergency Service. If you see our vessels or volunteers around give them a wave.
If you have a boat we encourage you to become a member to give you and your family peace of mind when you are out on the water with our rescue coverage included. Any donations over $2 are also tax deductible and help us to maintain this vital service in the Bribie and surrounding area..
